Banana pancakes

This may be a late blog post as pancake day was three days ago now, but hey " it's better late than never!"

These are far more tastier then the traditional pancakes made with flour, milk and eggs, and slightly healthier too!

You will need:

A medium sized banana
2 large eggs
Butter or oil (to grease the frying pan)
Toppings of your choice,
I chose some blueberries, lemon juice, organic honey and a bit of almond butter
A frying pan
A whisk/ fork
Ladle
A fish slice (utensil)

Makes 2-3 medium sizes pancakes

Directions:

Mash up the banana, then add in two eggs. Whisk/beat/stir it all in together.
Put a nob of butter into the frying pan,( I used high heat on an electric hob) let it melt, then add in one to one and a half ladles of mixture. Move the mixture around the pan to get it into a pancake shape. The underneath should start to brown. After about 30- 40 seconds gently shake and move the frying pan and the mixture should move around as a pancake, flip it over to brown the other side, this may take another 30-40 seconds, Make sure both sides are brown and cooked properly, then there you have it, your pancake is cooked. Serve with topping of your choice!

Primark Haul

I love Primark and I usually end up spending a small fortune in there but this time i only bought a few things for my travels this year.

I'm very happy with both of these sandles as I've been looking at the real Birkenstocks but can't justify spending that much on a pair when I can find cheaper alternatives elsewhere.
I went for the plain white as they will go with most summer outfits that I wear. I then found the multi coloured pair in the next isle round and couldn't leave the shop without them, these too will go with most summer outfits.
White Pair: £5
Multi colour bead pair: £8

I then saw these makeup bags, and fell in love again (this happeneds a lot when shopping!) seeing as i'm going to Paris this year I though it was only fitting that I buy some French themed assesories. I was thinking of using the J'adore pouch as a clutch when going out in the evening and the Bonjour smaller pouch as a purse.
Eiffel Tower makeup bag: £4
J'adore and Bonjour pouches: £2 (sale items came as a pair)

I found these great hair ties when looking in the hair accessorie section. I already have some plain black 'visibobble' hair ties but fancied pushing the boat out and getting these colourful ones. These are a great alternative to normal elastic hair ties as they don't pull or damage your hair or leave a mark in your hair where you've had it up all day, which can be frustrating if you've straightened your hair.
Bigger hair ties x5: £1.50
Pink pack: £1.00

I hope you've enjoyed this post, let me know in the comments box if you would like me to do more haul blogs in the future.

Travel Bucket List

Paris
This has always been on my bucket list of places to go, and I'm very excited to say I will be going there at the end of May - June of this year! I'm not sure what my facination is with this place, but I've just always dreamt of visiting Paris, walking along eating fresh baguetts and having my picture taken in front of the Eiffel Tower.

New York City!
This may not count as I have already been there, and I will be going back later this year, but New York City is just amazing, and I can not keep it off my list! I don't know why I love it some much, I just do! When you're there it's alomost as if you're in a film set, it's the same as what you see on any film or tv programme, and yes, there are people on the side of the 'sidewalks' selling fresh hotdogs, bagels and toasted nuts as you would imagine.
There are definitely too many Starbucks, but who's complaining about that!
It's Big, Over the top, Loud but great!
It certainly is the 'City that never sleeps!'

Austrailia
This has got to be on my bucket list of places to vistit! Lots of people I know have been there and highly reccomend it. I would love to see a kangaroo jumping around in the outback, with a Joey in it's pouch (I just assume that's where Kangaroos live!) Spiders and snakes are a bit of a turn off, but I'm sure I'd get used to them.. maybe....Never!

Viva Las Vegas
Again I may be cheating with this one as I am going to be going here in September but I just wanted to put it on here, hey It's my blog. Im not a gambler, I wouldn't know how to be, I guess its just the great big, cheesy bright lights that attract me to Las Vegas, and maybe the fact Britney Spears has a show out there now (guilty pleasure), which I am hoping to drag by boyfriend to go and watch with me! I will also, hopfuly be going to the Grand Cayon whilst out here, as that is a huge one on my  bucket list of things to go and see.

A Caribbean Island
Any one of them, I'm not fussy! Just somewhere where I can lie on a beach, put my headphones in and not have to think or worry about anything, just for a week or two, or three!

There are so may more places I would love to visit in this beautiful world of ours, but for now I will just talk about these few places, as I would not want to bore you with my rambling on!

Paris, Austrailia, Las Vegas and Caribbean pictures found on Google Images- None of these are my own.

Favourite Skincare Brand

Simple has defiantly got to be my favourite skincare range.
I can always count on it to help refresh and rehydrate my skin, especially in the winter months.

I have recently bought the Simple eye roll-on, so far so good! I apply it first thing in the morning, to help me look half presentable to the outside world, and I love it! The roll-on has a great thin consistency, which you can blend in with your finger if needed, and sinks into your skin very quickly.

I have been using the facial wipes for at least four years now, I think they're great, they remove all my foundation and makeup really thoroughly and leave my skin feeling clean and fresh.

I started using the night cream a year ago, and haven't looked back since. It has a great consistency that doesn't feel to thick when applying it to my skin, it sinks in fast and leaves my skin feeling smooth to touch.
