My Birthday

I am no means trying to brag about anything that i received for my birthday, i just thought i'd show you what i got as i enjoy reading other blogs with the same theme!

My birthday was on Wednesday 17th June, which i share with my Mum!

I am not happy with the fact i have just turned 24! But oh well what can you do!

Here are a few things that i got from my family and Boyfriend for my Birthday..

Of course i had some chocloate, what birthday is complete without any!

I've recently changed from milk chocolate to dark, so my boyfriend got me this yummy box from Hotel Chocolate! (He actually listened to something i said!)

My brother gave me this little travel bag with all these minis inside from L'Occitane, which will be perfect for my travels to America in September!

I was then given some Amande shower oil and hand cream from my Nana, as shes knows that i love these to products! She is also the person that introduced me to L'Occitane products!

I got given this travel bag from my Mum and Dad! I love it so much, probably beacause it's rose gold!

I will be taking this on the plane with me when we fly to the US as its got great essentials inside, for when i'm on the plane!

I also got a great bunch of make up from my Mum, Dad and my boyfriend!

I have been wanting to purchase Rollerlash since i tried the sample that came with Elle mag a few months back, so i did ask for this!

I also got the Maybelleine Eye Eraser in the shade Light, Rimmel Kate lippy in No.58 , a Maybelleine Matte Maker powder, Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub and an Essie nail varnish in the colour Pink Diamond!

I love, love these sandles i got from my Mum and Dad! They are from a company called Moshulu which are very similar to the Birkenstock design, but these are padded on the insole so they give you great support and comfort when wearing them! I love the pretty flower pattern on them, and I have not seen any like this before!

..and last but no means least, my first bit of Tiffany!

We did pick this up in Paris so i did know I was getting it! I am very, very greatful for it!

I love this bracelet and can not stop wearing it!

I chose this design as i wanted something simple and girly that wouldnt catch on anything or get in the way, especially when at work!

I also received some money and gift cards from other family members which i will be mostly putting towards America!

A big, big Thankyou to all my family and friends that bought me a gift for my birthday!

Thankyou for reading this post! Hope you enjoyed it! :)

Clarks Village Haul

I recently went to Clarks Village in Street, it's a fab outlet village where you can purchases last seasons stock from high street stores.

I went into a few shops whilst there but couldn't really that much to buy, but
I did end up going into a beauty cosmetic shop and The Body Shop outlet,

So here's what I bought..

Bobbi Brown eyeshadow:

I am really loving wearing this shade, it's a peachy nude that comes out quite sheer so you need to build it up to how you like it! But I think it looks great paired with the Clinique shade I also picked!

Clinique eyeshadow: 07 at dusk

I chose this one from a choice of two, and I'm happy with my choice, the other one was another peachy shade and I thought it was too similar to the Bobbi Brown one I picked up.

This eyeshadow is very pigmented and comes out really well on to the lid, so you don't need to put to much on.

It's a great bronze shade that seems to compliment a tan, which is great for the summer.

The Body Shop

I got all the products from The Body Shop for £30, instead of £60 so I was pretty happy with that!

I have been using the cleanser, toner and night cream nightly and have been really loving how great my skin feels, so soft and hydrated!

I have also been using the insta blur primer and the results are great! My makeup does seem to last a lot longer with this on underneath it!

I love the almond scent of the hand cream! It's great stuff that helps your hands feel lovely and soft!

I will definitely be going back there very soon to see what other bargains I can find!

A Very Parisian Trip

Paris: May 30th - June 3rd 2015

I cannot express my new love for Paris!! It's such a beautiful city! Cannot believe I've only just visited this place, but I know it won't be the last!

We stayed at a little hotel, Hotel Eiffle Rive Gauche, wich had great views of the Eiffle Tower from our from, for the reasonable price we paid to stay!

The weather was fabulous the day we arrived couldn't of asked for any better, so we decided to get the Eiffle Tower tour out the way! (wich we're glad we did as its wasn't great weather the next day!)
We took the lift to the second level then got out, took a few snaps and selfies then got back in another lift to take us right to the top (third level!) this was a little terrifying on the way up in the lift as you could see down below getting smaller and smaller, and I'm not that great with heights, especially when your crammed in with 10+ other people in a tin can!
Anyways the views from the top were breathtaking, so my shaky legs soon stopped!

We took the lift back down to the second level, of course stopping off at the souvenir shop to get myself a model Eiffle Tower, couldn't resist!
We then walked down the rest of the way, right to the bottom, man I was glad to touch down on solid ground!

Later that evening we went out for food at a lovely little family run Itatian restaurant, where the waiter taught us how to ask for the bill in French! (I don't know much French as I learnt German and Spanish at school!)

The next day we went on a 'Big Bus Tour' wich was €30 each, but you could hop on and off anywhere around Paris on their route!

We managed to see the gorgeous architecture and sights of Paris! I could not believe how many beautiful and proud buildings there are, with all their amazing carvings!

We made it to Notre Dame and the Arc De Triomphe, even though we were soaked through, as it decided to be the worst kind of weather for and open top bus ride!

The next day we walked to the Champs Élysées! Oh my god what a place to go..

First of all I spotted Sephora, now I've heard all about this shop from watching YouTube videos but I've never been into one, and wow what a shop!
So so much choice of make up, fragrances, hair and skin care I just wanted to live in there! I didn't actually end up buying anything as the queues were crazy and I didn't want my boyfriend to get even more bored and frustrated than he  already was with me,  just looking! (Note to self next time go into Sephora alone!)
Guys just don't understand hey!!

But I did end up dragging him along to Chanel, YSL, Celine, Louis Vuitton and Tiffanys!
Wow I felt like I couldn't breath, sneeze or cough in these shops!
The bags in side were to die for!!

But unfortunately my boyfriend would rather me save for a house than buy a bag!

This also kinda happened.. 😍

As it was our four year anniversary we went to a posh restaurant for lunch on the Champs Élysées. We both ordered €20 burgers!
Can I just say they were the best and only €20 burgers I will ever eat!

For pudding i had the best Crem Brûlée I've ever tasted!

We then moved on to what I had been waiting for the whole trip!

Oh yeah I got myself some (very pricey) yummy macaroons from Laduree,

It was quite a tough decision of wich ones to get, but someone's gotta do it!

So in the end I went for two salted caramels! One vanilla, toffee, pistachio and chocolate! And they definitely live up the their expectations!!

I then stumbled across a Mac store! Wich I've never seen as they only seem to be inside department stores here! I picked up my first Mac lippy, I decided to go for a nude pink as I didn't want anything to bright and attention seeking!
So I got 'syrup' but I cannot remember how much it was 😑
But I loooorve it!

I also picked up a new Mac eye shadow for my quad!

I think this shade was 'temptation' but I'm not 100%. But it's a beautiful golden bronze shade wich I've been looking for, for a while! I think this was €10!

(I am awear they look the same, but they're not I promise!😏)

I then went into the Longchamp shop as I needed to fullfil my fix and buy a bag, as I wasn't aloud to spend my life savings on a Celine! 😔 So I settled for a bag that wouldn't dent the bank account too much.

We spent our mornings eating out breakfast under the Eiffle Tower, this usualy consisted of Croissants and Pan au Chocolate, which we bought from a lovely little patisserie near when we were staying!
They had mouthwateringly good pastries, cakes and breads!

So all in all i had a great time away and can not wait to visit Paris again in the future, and would deffinatly reccommend going there to anyone! (Make sure you take plenty if spending money as things are quite pricey over there!)
