A Very Parisian Trip

Paris: May 30th - June 3rd 2015

I cannot express my new love for Paris!! It's such a beautiful city! Cannot believe I've only just visited this place, but I know it won't be the last!

We stayed at a little hotel, Hotel Eiffle Rive Gauche, wich had great views of the Eiffle Tower from our from, for the reasonable price we paid to stay!

The weather was fabulous the day we arrived couldn't of asked for any better, so we decided to get the Eiffle Tower tour out the way! (wich we're glad we did as its wasn't great weather the next day!)
We took the lift to the second level then got out, took a few snaps and selfies then got back in another lift to take us right to the top (third level!) this was a little terrifying on the way up in the lift as you could see down below getting smaller and smaller, and I'm not that great with heights, especially when your crammed in with 10+ other people in a tin can!
Anyways the views from the top were breathtaking, so my shaky legs soon stopped!

We took the lift back down to the second level, of course stopping off at the souvenir shop to get myself a model Eiffle Tower, couldn't resist!
We then walked down the rest of the way, right to the bottom, man I was glad to touch down on solid ground!

Later that evening we went out for food at a lovely little family run Itatian restaurant, where the waiter taught us how to ask for the bill in French! (I don't know much French as I learnt German and Spanish at school!)

The next day we went on a 'Big Bus Tour' wich was €30 each, but you could hop on and off anywhere around Paris on their route!

We managed to see the gorgeous architecture and sights of Paris! I could not believe how many beautiful and proud buildings there are, with all their amazing carvings!

We made it to Notre Dame and the Arc De Triomphe, even though we were soaked through, as it decided to be the worst kind of weather for and open top bus ride!

The next day we walked to the Champs Élysées! Oh my god what a place to go..

First of all I spotted Sephora, now I've heard all about this shop from watching YouTube videos but I've never been into one, and wow what a shop!
So so much choice of make up, fragrances, hair and skin care I just wanted to live in there! I didn't actually end up buying anything as the queues were crazy and I didn't want my boyfriend to get even more bored and frustrated than he  already was with me,  just looking! (Note to self next time go into Sephora alone!)
Guys just don't understand hey!!

But I did end up dragging him along to Chanel, YSL, Celine, Louis Vuitton and Tiffanys!
Wow I felt like I couldn't breath, sneeze or cough in these shops!
The bags in side were to die for!!

But unfortunately my boyfriend would rather me save for a house than buy a bag!

This also kinda happened.. 😍

As it was our four year anniversary we went to a posh restaurant for lunch on the Champs Élysées. We both ordered €20 burgers!
Can I just say they were the best and only €20 burgers I will ever eat!

For pudding i had the best Crem Brûlée I've ever tasted!

We then moved on to what I had been waiting for the whole trip!

Oh yeah I got myself some (very pricey) yummy macaroons from Laduree,

It was quite a tough decision of wich ones to get, but someone's gotta do it!

So in the end I went for two salted caramels! One vanilla, toffee, pistachio and chocolate! And they definitely live up the their expectations!!

I then stumbled across a Mac store! Wich I've never seen as they only seem to be inside department stores here! I picked up my first Mac lippy, I decided to go for a nude pink as I didn't want anything to bright and attention seeking!
So I got 'syrup' but I cannot remember how much it was 😑
But I loooorve it!

I also picked up a new Mac eye shadow for my quad!

I think this shade was 'temptation' but I'm not 100%. But it's a beautiful golden bronze shade wich I've been looking for, for a while! I think this was €10!

(I am awear they look the same, but they're not I promise!😏)

I then went into the Longchamp shop as I needed to fullfil my fix and buy a bag, as I wasn't aloud to spend my life savings on a Celine! 😔 So I settled for a bag that wouldn't dent the bank account too much.

We spent our mornings eating out breakfast under the Eiffle Tower, this usualy consisted of Croissants and Pan au Chocolate, which we bought from a lovely little patisserie near when we were staying!
They had mouthwateringly good pastries, cakes and breads!

So all in all i had a great time away and can not wait to visit Paris again in the future, and would deffinatly reccommend going there to anyone! (Make sure you take plenty if spending money as things are quite pricey over there!)
